The Role

Language Quality Specialists are involved in all aspects of coordinating the language function in a multiple language vendor environment. The team ensures delivery of cost efficient and quality driven language function by understanding the needs and expectations of our clients.

Main Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Supplier training, on boarding and tools support
  • Quality risk assessment and prevention, planning, monitoring and management
  • Terminology management, creation and maintenance of reference materials
  • Query Management
  • LQA and TQA recommendations, handling and rebuttals
  • Client language review feedback handling and rebuttals
  • Initiating quality improvement plans and off boarding decisions
  • Test translations
  • Source content analysis
  • Creation of test translation kits

 Requirements 

  • 5 years Multilingual Language Quality experience within the localisation industry
  • Degree or Masters in translation
  • Fluent English plus 1-2 additional languages
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem solver
  • Expert knowledge of standard CAT packages (Trados, XTM ,SDLX , Catalyst )
  • Time management, organizational and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office packages (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Solid understanding of how quality management feeds into client satisfaction and delivery targets
  • Solid understanding of quality in the context of business needs
