Vistatec Appoints New Technical Marketing Executive
Jordan Knights has been appointed as the Technical Marketing Executive within the Vistatec Marketing Department.
Originally from Middlesbrough in the United Kingdom, Jordan Knights professional journey started in the video games industry.
“A fun fact about myself is my background and education are not in the marketing field. Originally, I was an aspiring video games designer, but during my time at university, I was introduced into the wide world of content marketing, and I have been hooked ever since.”
With previous experience within B2C marketing, Jordan was responsible for a fair amount of consumer-based marketing and sales activities. An opportunity to work in a B2B setting arose, leading him to jump at the chance to experience the other side of the coin.
Joining the Marketing Department as Technical Marketing Executive, Jordan takes on various responsibilities, including content creation & management, statistics & analytics management, and technical support & development.
“My day-to-day can range from creating various content pieces such as social media images and blogposts to devising and planning advertising campaigns. Most of my work is primarily done via Photoshop, Illustrator, and content management tools,” he says.
When asked about the best aspect of the job, Jordan explains, “One of the biggest boons you get while working at Vistatec is the freedom to trial, test, and experiment ideas which promotes personal growth. Because I am working with such a great team, I am able to take time to grow and improve my skill set while working on fun and challenging projects,” comments Knights.
An avid collector of Tabletop games, Miniature figurines, and dice, Jordan also loves playing a wide collection of video games; he is also quite the adrenaline seeker with a passion for Skydiving. He is an alumnus of Teesside University in the United Kingdom, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Games Design.
