Initial Judges Announced for the Think Global Awards

The Think Global Forum announces the initial judges panel for the Think Global Awards 2017. The Think Global Awards panel will be reviewing the awards categories, which cover:

 

Brand of the Year Award, Community Award, Company of the Year Award, Global Advertising Award, Language Industry Person of the Year Award, Localization Recognition Award, Manufacturing Company of the Year Award, Life Sciences Company of the Year Award, Most Innovative Use of Technology Award, Online Advertising Award, Retail Company of the Year Award, Technology Company of the Year Award and, Travel Company of the Year Award.

The judges announced so far include individuals from The Nielsen Company, Sage Plc, Biz Growth Media and Vistatec. The initial judges include Bruno Herrmann, Director of Globalization and Localization, The Nielsen Company; Beatrice Whelan, Global Content Manager, Social Media, Blogging and Events, Sage Plc; Krishna De, Founder and CEO, Biz Growth Media; Sibylle Eibl, Director of Solutions Architecture, Vistatec; and Patrick Kelly, CCO, Vistatec. Additional judges will be added and announced in the near future.

Bruno Herrmann
Director of Globalization and Localization, The Nielsen Company

As Director of Globalization and Localization, Bruno Herrmann is leading global digital content operations at The Nielsen Company, focusing on design, development, localization, certification and delivery as well as on immersive customer experiences locally. He joined Nielsen in 2003 to manage international content and digital marketing programs in EMEA prior to taking on the role of Globalization Leader. Previously, Bruno managed online globalization and localization programs at HP and content management initiatives in addition to web localization at Compaq. Prior to joining Compaq, he worked in the communication and localization industries, taking part in major international projects for high-profile technology clients.

Beatrice Whelan
Global Content Manager, Social Media, Blogging & Events, Sage

An award winning social media and content strategist with over ten years’ experience in the B2B tech sector, Beatrice is Global Content Manager for Social Media, Events and Blogging at Sage, providing social content and inbound content strategy for Sage in over 20 markets globally. She is the author of Trending:   The Complete Guide to Social Media for Events. Beatrice is also a public speaker and social media trainer. Her work has received many awards including eGovernment Award for Best Accessible Website (2011), Best Inbound Marketing Campaign Social Media Awards (2013), Best Use of Social Media Advocate Marketing Awards (2016) and B2B Marketing Exchange Killer Content Awards (2017).

Krishna De
Founder & CEO, Biz Growth Media

Krishna De is a digital communications, social business, mobile marketing and live video strategist, educator and mentor. She has been immersed in digital technologies since 2005. Prior to establishing her own business, Krishna was on the board of a FTSE 100 company in Asia, North America, Western and Eastern Europe. She now guides executives, marketing and PR professionals in digital communications to support their strategic goals. Since 2008, Krishna has been an early adopter of mobile live streaming, and is the co-host of ‘Live Stream Insiders’, a weekly show covering live streaming news, technology and best practice case studies.

Sibylle Eibl
Director of Solutions Architecture, Vistatec

Working closely with clients and partners around the world, Sibylle has extensive experience in the field of content globalization, software localization, multilingual multi-media and e-learning development. Sibylle is a highly-experienced senior manager with strong business management expertise in a complex international environment. With a master’s degree in Applied Linguistics, Sibylle has worked in a number of leading industry positions across the sector. Prior to her appointment to Director of Solutions, Sibylle managed the Language Review and Digital Marketing Services divisions at Vistatec.

Patrick Kelly
CCO, Vistatec

Patrick Kelly began his IT career in software development at Lotus. He then joined GeCAP as Localization Manager and became one of Vistatec’s founding members when GeCAP was acquired in 1997. Patrick is Chief Commercial Officer at Vistatec and is responsible for the commercial viability of Vistatec’s business solutions.

The Think Global Awards are currently open for entries and will close on December 22, 2017. Judging will be taking place in early 2018.
