Special Episode - Think Global Awards Year Six - VistaTalks Ep 105
In this episode, podcast hosts María Roa and Simon Hodgkins discuss the latest year of the Think Global Awards. María shares news about year six of the global awards program, including the ten categories, who can enter the awards, and the importance of the awards to companies of all shapes and sizes.
The free-to-enter awards program has grown from strength to strength since its inception in 2018. This year’s theme is ‘making a difference in a globally connected world,’ which was chosen to highlight how we are all connected worldwide. Following on from last year’s theme of ‘re-imaging culture,’ where we have seen an unprecedented shift in how the world operates, the awards have moved forward to shine a light on the individuals and organizations making a real difference!
María and Simon share information on the updated ten awards categories. Technology & Entertainment, Marketing, Retail & eCommerce, Community/Non-Profit, Professional Services, Language Industry Person of The Year, Travel, Transportation & Hospitality, Life Sciences, Start-Up, and Education & eLearning.
María reminds the audience that if you are helping to make a difference in a positive way in our globally connected world, we welcome you to enter the awards! Simon shares how you can enter as a business or an individual and nominate other people and organizations who deserve recognition. The chance to enter the awards for free closes in January 2023 for year six. The shortlist will be announced on Mar 9, 2023, and the overall winners will be announced on Apr 19, 2023.
In past years, the awards have received entries from around the world. Simon recommends visiting the website www.thinkglobalawards.com to see all of the winners from years one through five and the latest judges panel.
